Got to be basket, it just sounds more British, sorry for crap reply lol by backing it up with nothing but yeah, basket is a lot mroe calmer Cheesy easier on the tongue and mind

Definitely not 'cart' if it's outside the US - it's not the Middle Ages and I don't take my shopping home in anything horse-drawn!
Nothing wrong with trying different variations as long as it's still obvious what it does - there is standard text for things just like standard icons so that people immediately recognise what to do.
More impact on conversion rates will come where the call-to-action is positioned and what you're saying to the potential punter at that time.

If it is for your 'naughty' site then how about 'love me up'.   laugh

Great advice about the call to action though. I think this is worthy of far more time and energy than deciding between cart and basket.

To be honest, I just think that "basket" sounds nicer :P
